Our paediatric surgery service includes a paediatric urology unit headed by a paediatric urologist. Paediatric patients and neonates with renal tract anomalies, congenital malformations of the genitourinary system, enuresis and neurogenic bladder are treated here. Our paediatric urology service offers office ultrasounds, video urodynamics, biofeedback alongside uroflow EMG.
We work closely with our colleagues from paediatric nephrology, paediatric neurology and rehabilitation medicine. Patients requiring multidisciplinary team input are discussed and co-managed in the combined clinic for children with spina bifida and combined nephrology-urology clinic.
